Riviera, Australia’s most awarded pleasure boat builder has recorded the best sales results in 15 months after a strong first quarter signals returning confidence to the luxury boat market.
The iconic boat builder has sold 36 new boats over the three month period 1st January to 31st March 2010, valued at over (AUD) $38 million.
Riviera CEO John Anderson said these results were gratifying and demonstrated that the Riviera brand was as strong as ever in the current market.
“Riviera has achieved sales in all major regions including the United States, Europe, and Australasia,” Mr Anderson said.
“These sales figures are a result of Riviera’s exciting new model releases as well as significant sales being achieved from Riviera’s popular evergreen models.
“The new 43 Open Flybridge will have its world release at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May but we have already achieved sight unseen sales of this exciting new model off the plan both internationally and domestically.
“The Sport Yacht range including the 5000 with Zeus drives and the 5800 with IPS are receiving very positive reviews by boating journalists, which is pleasing.
“Riviera has already built and launched five new 70 Enclosed Flybridges - our flagship model, which made its New Zealand debut at the Auckland International Boat Show earlier this month.
“These results speak for themselves and we are humbled with the level of commitment and support for the Riviera brand.”
